Overview

In this role, you will maintain and optimise Tesco estate assets to ensure reliable operations across stores, distribution centres, and offices. You’ll work with a cross-functional team to coordinate repairs, uphold safety, and minimise disruption to customers. The position offers a clear impact on uptime, service quality, and asset longevity within a large retail network. You’ll engage with external contractors, use digital tools to manage work, and contribute to continuous improvement in maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate repairs with external contractors to ensure seamless maintenance
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high‑quality service
• Maintain high energy levels while juggling multiple tasks
• Keep stores running by servicing equipment and facilities
• Minimise customer disruption during repairs
• Perform proactive and reactive maintenance to sustain automation availability
• Log and prioritise rectifications for timely revisit
• Operate safely with dynamic risk assessments on all jobs
• Build relationships with stakeholders across departments
• Monitor site performance and measure availability and throughput
• Maintain accurate CMMS records and generate shift reports
• Create documentation for root cause analysis of major breakdowns
• Assist in managing site maintenance budgets with a no-waste approach
• Support administrative maintenance tasks and ensure up-to-date documentation

Key requirements
