Senior Project Manager – Data Centers

Overview

In this role you drive delivery of large-scale, ground-up data centre projects for major technology clients across Europe. You will shape project strategy, establish success criteria, and oversee governance from inception to commissioning. You collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage risk, and report progress to clients and stakeholders. Responsibilities

• Provide strategic advice at project conception to select effective delivery approaches
• Set overall project success criteria including time, cost, technical and performance targets
• Plan and manage quality, safety, health and environment aspects
• Establish and maintain project governance, processes and systems
• Produce detailed project plans and manage resource procurement
• Lead the cross-functional project team and coordinate activities
• Use KPIs to monitor and improve project performance
• Oversee the change control process and project finances
• Coordinate project information flow with client through meetings and reports
• Interface with the client and other consultants at all project stages
• Produce formal project progress reports and communications
• Represent the project in client and consultant engagements

Key requirements

• Construction consultancy experience strongly preferred
• Professionally qualified in construction, project management, engineering, or architecture
• Chartered status or on the path to it
• Solid understanding of the full project lifecycle from conception to post-completion review
• Strong knowledge of core project management concepts, tools and techniques
• Experience in design, management or construction within residential, office, fit-outs and health & education sectors
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
