Investment Banking Senior Associate, M&A

Overview

In this role you will serve as a strategic advisor to clients, helping raise capital and provide advisory support on M&A and other transactions in coordination with Citi’s Institutional Banking team. You will participate in executing investment banking activities and mentor analysts, contributing to Citi’s franchise growth. You will also act as a trading intermediary for clients, supporting risk and exposure management. This is a high-impact position at a global bank with a focus on delivering value through rigorous analysis and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the execution of Citi’s Investment Banking activities
• Enhance M&A execution and capital raising capabilities leveraging experience
• Contribute to building Citi’s franchise
• Manage and mentor analysts, providing guidance and credit/exposure information

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related area; MBA preferred
• Experience evaluating corporate transactions and structures
• Experience creating financial analyses
• Strong problem solving and organizational skills
