Senior Structural Engineer, London

Overview

In this Senior Structural Engineer role, you own and deliver structural design across steel, concrete, and timber for a diverse London portfolio. You guide projects from feasibility through construction support, working closely with clients and contractors to ensure delivery without escalation. You shape schemes in a fast-paced consultancy setting, mentoring engineers and developing a high-performing team. You will contribute to commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects, drawing on UK consultancy experience and strong engineering judgement. Responsibilities

• Lead structural design across steel, reinforced concrete, and timber
• Manage projects from concept to delivery including feasibility and construction support
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project success
• Utilise Tekla, Revit Structure, and Tedds or similar for analysis and modelling
• Develop junior engineers and provide technical mentorship
• Maintain commercial awareness and contribute to project procurement and tender processes
• Deliver quality schemes in commercial, residential, and mixed-use sectors

Key requirements

• Chartered or close to Chartered in Structural/Civil Engineering (as implied)
• strong UK consultancy experience
