Overview

In this role you deliver high‑quality aircraft maintenance at Bournemouth Base Maintenance Facility, ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency. You will lead scheduled and unscheduled maintenance inputs as Check Lead and certify work performed, while maintaining precise documentation. You will liaise with customers, suppliers, and regulators to uphold service standards and regulatory compliance. The position supports a global maintenance operation within Signature TECHNICAir, offering growth through training and cross‑functional collaboration. This is a customer‑facing, technically demanding role that shapes service quality in a reputable aviation group.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out maintenance tasks to manufacturer, company, and regulatory standards at Bournemouth facility
  • Manage and execute scheduled and unscheduled maintenance inputs as Check Lead
  • Certify maintenance tasks performed by yourself and non-certifying engineers
  • Ensure maintenance documentation is accurate and compliant
  • Liaise with customers, support representatives, regulatory authorities, and internal teams
  • Demonstrate strong communication and customer service while maintaining quality

Key requirements

  • CAA B1 and/or B2 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License
  • Ideally some experience with Cessna Citation or Embraer Legacy/Phenom types but not essential
  • Full UK driving license with ability to travel as needed
