Senior Civil Engineer (Drainage)

Overview

As a Senior Civil Engineer at AECOM, you will lead and contribute to the delivery of development projects—from site due diligence and masterplanning to detailed design and construction support. Responsibilities

• Provide commercial and technical leadership to engineering teams, plan workloads, and deliver projects on time and within budget
• Lead, review, and approve civil infrastructure designs and specifications for site development, earthworks, drainage, pavements, highways, and utilities
• Manage a portfolio of schemes across project lifecycle stages
• Support business development by nurturing client relationships and securing new work in property and development sectors
• Coordinate with civil and technical specialists across the UK and global offices to deliver project portfolios

Key requirements

• Significant experience in UK development-led infrastructure engineering, focusing on SuDS, stormwater and foul drainage systems, with proficiency in InfoDrainage and Civil 3D
• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Chartered Civil Engineer status or nearing Chartership (MICE)
• Strong capability in design of highways, road geometry, drainage, earthworks, pavements and underground services
