Data Privacy & AI Governance Senior Analyst

Overview

In this role you will help ensure regulatory privacy compliance while shaping the AI Governance function at Teya. You will work with a cross-functional team to implement privacy controls and guide AI-enabled platforms, balancing risk with fast-paced product needs. The role sits at the intersection of Data Privacy, Data Management, and AI Governance to support responsible innovation for local businesses across Europe. You will drive practical privacy programs and enable AI literacy across the organization, contributing to a governance-first culture with real impact.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day privacy processes (RoPA, DPIA, DSRs)
• Administer systems like OneTrust and Jira
• Lead rollout and governance of AI-enabled platforms
• Provide guidance on data protection, privacy by design, cookies and AI risks
• Codify guidance and deliver privacy/AI training
• Identify opportunities to automate privacy processes and improve operations
• Collaborate with global cross-functional stakeholders to support projects
• Coordinate with Procurement, Product, Engineering, Security, Legal, Risk and Compliance to balance privacy and business needs
• Conduct re-assessments of high- and medium-risk processing activities
• Assist in reviewing and negotiating Data Protection Agreements

Key requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in data privacy and/or data governance (in-house or consulting)
• Strong critical thinking and ability to identify workflow improvements
• Experience working on cross-functional projects
• Experience building frameworks, policies, and procedures
• Ability to distill complex issues into audience-appropriate guidance
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
