Manager, Transaction Services – Financial Services

Overview

In this role you drive Financial Due Diligence and related services for a diverse Financial Services client base within Interpath’s fast-growing Transaction Services team in London. You will lead cross-functional due diligence engagements, shape client recommendations, and help grow the Financial Services practice. You’ll work closely with Corporate Finance, Debt Advisory, and other specialists to deliver high-impact transactions. This is a hands-on, client-facing role with a clear growth path and entrepreneurial culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and delivery of FDD, VDD and Vendor Assist reports
• Evaluate Quality of Earnings to identify extraordinary income and costs impacting earnings
• Analyse and benchmark Net Working Capital based on historical trends
• Identify debt-like items through balance sheet and off-balance-sheet review
• Critically assess target forecasts, highlighting risks and opportunities
• Lead client meetings and act as primary contact for due diligence engagements
• Support business development and growth of the Financial Services sector practice

Key requirements

• Bachelor
• 3+ years’ experience in Transaction Services or relevant field
• Experience in transactions within the Financial Services sector
• Chartered Accountancy or similar qualification preferred but not required
• Demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit and strong team orientation
• Ability to manage multiple engagements in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with proven senior client relationship management
• Experience supporting business development and originating opportunities is advantageous but not mandatory
