Overview
As Product Operations Manager at Very, you will shape how product teams operate, driving clarity, governance and delivery excellence across Engineering, UX, Data and Commercial within Financial Services. You’ll own the Personal Loans proposition and build frameworks that unlock performance and speed-to-market. You’ll partner with senior stakeholders to prioritise, align investments and improve tooling and reporting. This is a unique, high-impact role at the centre of product, enabling faster, more reliable product delivery that benefits customers and the business.

Responsibilities
- Define and evolve the product operating model to support efficient, customer-focused delivery
- Increase portfolio planning visibility and governance with clear prioritisation
- Focus investment on initiatives delivering maximum customer and commercial impact
- Provide a clear view of portfolio health, delivery performance, dependencies and value realisation
- Improve use of product and delivery tooling to reduce friction and boost productivity
- Create meaningful reporting and insights for leadership decision-making
- Build strong partnerships across Product, Engineering, UX, Data, Commercial, Risk and Compliance
- Embed governance and controls to enable rapid delivery while meeting regulatory requirements
- Coach teams on product best practice, experimentation, metrics and continuous improvement
- Act as Product Manager for the Personal Loans proposition, shaping its future direction
Key requirements
- Experience in digital product organisations, ideally in Financial Services, fintech or regulated environments
- Understanding of great product discovery, delivery and prioritisation at scale
- Ability to influence across multiple stakeholders without direct authority
- Data-driven decision making to inform investment priorities
- Experience improving ways of working, delivery performance and operational effectiveness
