Overview

In this role you support financial governance and decision-making for the Bank’s London Branch by delivering accurate MI reports and analysis. You will work within the Financial Management team to drive reporting quality, budgeting, and forecasting while partnering with multiple stakeholders across the Bank. The position offers hybrid work and opportunities to mentor junior staff and contribute to MI automation projects. This is a permanent, full-time role with a focus on Mandarin-speaking communication and rigorous financial control.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit MI reports to the Financial Management department, other bank departments, the Management Team, and the Board for the London Branch and UK subsidiary
• Produce internal financial analysis reports (daily variance, profit-by-client, NII/NIM by department, departmental expenses) for Senior Management
• Support income/profit forecasting and budgeting tasks
• Manage AOC reports for audit compliance and accuracy
• Drive process improvements and controls through workflow assessment and procedural changes
• Build relationships across the Bank and mentor junior staff
• Support MI automation projects to aid decision-making with financial analysis and insights
• Assist with policy and procedure improvements

Key requirements

• Degree educated in Finance, Accounting, Business or relevant subjects
• Qualified/partly Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Proven track record in a similar financial services or banking role
• Experience in Management Accounting
• Excellent English and Mandarin communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, Access and PowerPoint
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Excellent analytical and logical skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
