GLO – Logistics Sourcing Manager

Overview

In this role you drive global logistics sourcing strategy for complex categories, shaping supplier bases and contracts to ensure cost-effective, reliable supply. You will lead cross-functional teams and advise executives on risk, continuity, and value delivery. The position emphasizes strategic procurement, supplier development, and performance management at scale. Responsibilities

• Lead a complex supply chain category with data-driven analysis and report outcomes to business executives
• Head an international, cross-functional team and align stakeholders on strategy
• Engage with senior leaders to discuss impact of supply chain strategies and influence market direction
• Develop and use supply chain, business, and financial modeling tools
• Lead complex supplier selection activities and optimize the supplier base
• Negotiate and finalize contracts with highly complex suppliers; oversee day-to-day operations of long-term relationships
• Partner with suppliers on strategic development and relationship building
• Form strategies for risk mitigation, business continuity, cost management, and operations improvement
• Innovate business models and influence the marketplace with new contracting approaches
• Identify emerging contract risks and draft solutions to achieve favorable outcomes
• Advise executive leaders on contract risk areas and mitigation approaches

Key requirements

• First level university degree or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred
• Typically 10+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain
• Excellent understanding of global procurement processes and complex suppliers
• Advanced analytical skills
• Advanced proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint and supply chain modeling
• Ability to independently draft legal contractual documents and custom contract solutions
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
• Advanced program management and cross-functional leadership abilities
• Fluent in English and local language
• Ability to close complex deals in a timely fashion
