Senior Underwriter or Underwriter – Trade Credit (New Business)

Responsibilities

• Underwrite new business submissions in Trade Credit, aligning with risk appetite and targets
• Drive growth by achieving and surpassing new business objectives (individual and team)
• Develop and maintain relationships with brokers, customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
• Provide technical underwriting support for business development and trading decisions
• Represent Swiss Re Corporate Solutions to strengthen brand in the Trade Credit market
• Contribute to business planning and portfolio management with insights/data for strategy
• Manage pipeline, prioritise opportunities, and take proactive approach to new business
• Continuously develop technical knowledge and market expertise

Key requirements

• Proven Credit Insurance market experience with solid Trade Credit underwriting knowledge
• Record of new business development: identifying opportunities, managing pipelines, closing deals
• Strong technical underwriting skills: risk assessment, financial analysis, decision-making within authority
• Excellent broker development and relationship management with influencing, presenting, negotiating abilities
