Contracts Manager required in Essex

Overview

In this Contracts Manager role, you will oversee multiple fit-out and refurbishment projects for an established Essex main contractor. You will coordinate with clients, consultants and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery, quality and safety on site. You will lead project teams through the construction lifecycle, mitigating risks and maintaining strong commercial awareness. This is a collaborative, quality-driven opportunity with potential to shape project outcomes across sectors.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day running of multiple fit-out/refurb projects
• Coordinate with clients, consultants and internal teams for smooth delivery
• Monitor timelines, budgets and quality standards
• Conduct regular site visits and progress meetings
• Ensure health & safety procedures are followed on site
• Lead and support project teams through the construction lifecycle

Key requirements

• Previous experience as Contracts Manager for a Main contractor
• Proven experience on multiple fit-out and refurbishment projects
• Strong commercial and contractual awareness
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications preferred
• Full UK driving licence
