Senior Product Design Manager, Enterprise

Overview

As the Product Design Leader for Scale’s Enterprise team, you shape how high-stakes AI products are designed and used. You set the design direction, build and mentor a growing team, and ensure design is embedded from problem framing to delivery across enterprise workflows. You elevate the craft, contribute to a shared design system, and define human-in-the-loop interaction patterns that build trust. This role offers the chance to influence how organizations deploy reliable AI in critical decisions.

Responsibilities

• Define and communicate the design direction for Enterprise products and the platform, translating vision into actionable team goals
• Build and lead the design team, including hiring, development, and establishing operating rhythms
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to embed design from problem scoping through delivery
• Raise craft standards, uphold principles, and push for innovative ways of working with AI without sacrificing quality
• Contribute to Scale’s shared design system and promote coherent, scalable design across a distributed team
• Ground design decisions in user needs through research habits and partnerships with Product and Engineering
• Shape interaction patterns for human-in-the-loop AI and trusted agentic workflows

Key requirements

• 3+ years managing product design teams
• Proven ability to simplify data-dense, power-user B2B workflows into elegant solutions
• Customer-centric mindset with proven impact on business outcomes
• Fluent in AI-enabled design practices and tooling; experience building AI-native workflows
• Experience designing for agentic platforms and human-in-the-loop interactions
• Ability to balance speed and quality with ruthless prioritization and effective shipping
• Excellent communicator capable of engaging leaders and frontline PMs
