SC Cleared Software Developer (Power Platform)

Overview

In this role you will design, build and integrate scalable Power Platform solutions to support critical public sector services. You will work with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into production-ready apps and automation, while ensuring accessibility and government standards. You’ll apply secure coding practices and contribute to continuous improvement in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The position offers a mix of on-site and remote work in London, with SC clearance essential for remote and public-facing work.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into technical designs
• Design and build applications using Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)
• Develop and integrate services within broader architecture
• Ensure solutions are user-focused, accessible and aligned to government standards
• Write clean, maintainable code and configurations
• Support issue investigation, resolution, and continuous improvement
• Follow secure development practices including OWASP awareness
• Collaborate with stakeholders and communicate technical concepts clearly

Key requirements

• Active SC Clearance (essential)
• Strong production experience with Power Platform
• Solid software development background beyond low-code
• Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and non-technical users
• Experience breaking down requirements and defining acceptance criteria
• Understanding of clean coding practices and scalable solutions
• Appreciation of software architecture and integration patterns
