Chartered Building Surveyor – Rights of Light

You will work with a busy portfolio of London and South East clients, delivering high-quality rights-related services within a collaborative, wellbeing-focused environment. You will address rights of light projects while leveraging the firm’s broader property services. Responsibilities

• Conduct rights of light assessments and related advisory work
• Manage client relationships and communicate project findings clearly
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams on property projects
• Prepare technical reports and feasibility studies for clients
• Support dilapidations, party walls, and fire assessment services where relevant
• Assist in project delivery and on-site surveys as required
• Contribute to business development and pitch support
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislation and case law related to rights of light

Key requirements

• Experience in rights of light consulting or surveying
• Chartered Surveyor status (RICS) or equivalent
• Experience working with commercial property clients in London/South East
• Strong report writing and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and client expectations
