Overview

As Senior Product Manager for Financial Crime, you will lead the strategy and delivery of fraud prevention across Ebury’s platform. You’ll partner with Operations, Compliance, Engineering, Data and Security to build customer-centric controls that scale with product expansions (embedded payments, cards, new rails). You help safeguard customers and assets while enabling growth, shaping the security posture and staying ahead of fraud trends in a regulated landscape. Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve fraud controls for transactional, document, and behavioral fraud across onboarding, authentication, and payments journeys
  • Research emerging fraud trends and attacker methodologies; identify vulnerabilities and design risk-balanced features
  • Translate control gaps into actionable roadmaps with timely delivery across fiat and crypto transactions and related journeys
  • Collaborate with Operations, Compliance, Data Science, and Security to ensure effective controls and model understandings in production
  • Define real-time and pre-authorisation controls, step-up and friction strategies based on risk signals
  • Translate regulatory and risk requirements into concrete product requirements; manage vendor integrations and data models
  • Drive cross-functional alignment and execution across geographies to scale fraud prevention
  • Oversee vendor evaluations, integrations, and performance management

Key requirements

  • 4+ years’ experience as a Product Manager
  • 2+ years developing Anti-Fraud products
  • Domain expertise in card fraud or transfer/payment fraud
  • Experience leading vendor evaluations, integrations, and performance management
  • Analytical thinking and proficiency with system design discussions
  • Demonstrated ability to influence across functions and geographies to drive alignment and execution
  • Experience with AI products or data-driven products (nice to have)
  • Fintech, crypto, payments, or regulated financial services background (preferred)
