AI Software Engineer

Overview

In this role you will build production-ready AI-enabled software and scalable backend services, integrating leading AI models to power enterprise applications. You’ll collaborate across Engineering, Data and Product teams to deploy and monitor AI workloads in the cloud. This position offers a hands-on path to specialise in AI development within a practical, value-driven product environment. You’ll work with modern tech to deliver measurable improvements for customers and evolve into senior AI engineering roles.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI-enabled software applications for production
• Build and maintain backend services supporting ML/LLM functionality
• Integrate OpenAI, Anthropic and other AI models into enterprise software
• Create scalable APIs and microservices for intelligent applications
• Work with cloud infrastructure to deploy and monitor AI workloads
• Collaborate with Engineering, Data and Product teams on AI initiatives

Key requirements

• Strong software engineering background in Python or C#
• Experience developing cloud-based backend applications
• Exposure to AI, ML or Generative AI in commercial projects
• Understanding of APIs, distributed systems and scalable architecture
• Passion for AI and willingness to learn emerging technologies
