Overview
In this role, you will partner with senior HR leadership to shape and deliver the HR & Culture strategy across business areas in a fast-growing financial services firm. You will advise line managers on HR policies, drive recruitment and learning initiatives, and ensure best practices across the organisation. You will analyse workforce trends, support change management, and lead TUPE/acquisition activities and large-scale projects. This position offers a hands-on opportunity to influence culture, improve performance, and align HR initiatives with group strategy.
Responsibilities
- Develop and own the HR & Culture strategy aligned to the Group strategy across business areas.
- Advise line managers on HR policies (performance, disciplinary, sickness, grievance, appraisal, recruitment, change management) ensuring compliance.
- Develop and lead recruitment strategy to reflect best practice and company values.
- Implement external HR best practice within the Group.
- Utilise workforce data to identify trends in turnover, absenteeism, vacancies and communicate implications to line managers.
- Identify priorities, pre-empt issues and deliver credible solutions.
- Identify learning and development opportunities; design and deliver training on key People policies for line managers.
- Coach leaders on applying HR policies and building trusted relationships; mentor line managers.
- Lead TUPE and acquisition activities integration across business areas.
- Drive employee engagement through change management and feedback mechanisms.
- Lead ad-hoc projects such as restructuring, redundancy programmes, and TUPE transfers.
