Proposal Manager

Overview

In this Proposal Manager role at Avaloq’s Edinburgh office, you drive upselling for assigned clients, acting as the main link between the Key Account Manager and delivery teams. You craft strong proposals, manage margins, and uphold customer satisfaction throughout the upsell lifecycle. You will oversee time, budget, and approvals for offers as the project lead and ensure productive client relationships and accurate documentation. This hybrid, collaborative role sits at the heart of our Offering team to shape client solutions and revenue growth.

Responsibilities

• Drive upselling activities and produce high-quality offers with strong win rate
• Oversee the upselling lifecycle from estimation to final offering
• Serve as the project manager for offers, coordinating time, quality, budget and approvals
• Act as single point of contact (SPOC) for clients, KAMs, and required stakeholders
• Support KAMs in building productive relationships with managed customers and ensuring satisfaction across services, solutions, financials, and time-to-market
• Maintain accurate sales documentation in company tools (e.g., CRM) and manage estimations and contracts

Key requirements

• Proven track record in a coordination, governance or administrative role within Financial Services
• Business School degree or Bachelor in Economics / Business Administration
• Fluent English with strong communication across stakeholders
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and coordination skills
• Ability to work independently on multiple topics while collaborating with the team
• Proficiency with MS Office and SAP (or related systems)
