Senior DA Pricing & Analytics Manager

Overview

In this role you lead the Pricing and Analytics function to ensure high-quality data and insightful reporting across UK Underwriting and Product. You will drive data governance, build and maintain MI dashboards, and oversee pricing outputs for delegated authority products. You’ll collaborate with Underwriting and Product teams in London and Munich, ensuring pricing and data practices meet regulatory requirements. This position offers impact on product strategy, governance, and data-driven decision making within a global leader in insurance and reinsurance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Pricing and Analytics team and ensure data quality and governance across UK Underwriting and Product data
• Develop and maintain internal MI dashboards and data initiatives for senior management and stakeholders
• Oversee pricing of DA products and analyze commissions with robust data governance
• Review pricing models, product definitions, and data analytics techniques used in product approvals
• Provide feedback on price and value during product reviews to meet regulatory data and pricing requirements
• Support continuous monitoring for delegated authority business with strong data practices
• Coordinate with Underwriting and Product Teams across London and Munich on analytics topics and data initiatives
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and present data-driven insights in quarterly meetings

Key requirements

• Proven experience in personal lines pricing within insurance
• Strong data governance and data quality management experience with hands-on analytics
• Experience developing and maintaining MI dashboards and leading data initiatives
• People management experience with ability to lead and motivate a team
• Strong analytical, organizational, and attention to detail skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage senior management
• Knowledge of Power BI or other visualization tools; knowledge of R and/or Python is a plus
• Suitable technical experience or equivalent technical degree
