Cyber Security Consultant

Overview

In this role you will help clients understand and mitigate cyber security risks across IT, OT and business systems. You will deliver risk assessments, security assurance activities and resilience-focused programmes for diverse, high-profile projects. You work closely with stakeholders to communicate risks and recommendations, contributing to secure and resilient solutions throughout project lifecycles. Responsibilities

• Conduct security risk assessments within complex operational and technology environments
• Identify, analyse and manage cyber security risks for clients
• Deliver security assurance and governance activities aligned to recognised standards
• Provide cyber security advice across systems, networks and business processes
• Contribute to resilience planning, incident preparedness and recovery activities
• Engage with customers and stakeholders to communicate risks and recommendations
• Support the development of secure and resilient solutions throughout project lifecycles

Key requirements

• Experience delivering cyber security, information security or risk management activities
• Understanding of security risk assessment methodologies and risk management principles
• Experience working directly with clients and stakeholders
• Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent demonstrable experience
• Strong communication, analytical and report-writing skills
