ETL Data Engineer

Overview

In this role you will design and manage large-scale batch and streaming data pipelines in AWS, enabling real-time insights for a leading fintech client. You’ll work within an agile, cross-functional software team focused on expanding a successful SaaS wealth management platform internationally. The role emphasizes data modeling, analysis, and modern data engineering practices to drive scalable solutions. This is a hands-on, technically driven position in a collaborative, tech-forward environment with clear opportunities to impact product outcomes.

Pay / Benefits

Responsibilities

• Design, build, monitor and manage large-scale batch and streaming data pipelines in AWS
• Data analysis and data modeling responsibilities

Key requirements

• Comp Sci or Engineering Degree
• Experience building complex data pipelines/ETL/ELT
• Extensive SQL
• Strong AWS knowledge (S3, Kinesis, DMS, SNS, Glue, Athena, RDS)
• Experience with data warehouse databases (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery)
• Python/PySpark
• Experience implementing REST APIs
• BI knowledge/experience
• Knowledge of Terraform, Airflow, DBT, Harness
• Modern data engineering practices
