Information/Asset Manager

Overview

In this role you will lead information and asset management across a portfolio of capital infrastructure projects, ensuring high-quality data throughout the asset lifecycle. You will promote best practices, support project teams and suppliers, and ensure information drives informed decisions, regulatory compliance, and long-term asset performance. You’ll govern information management activities across multiple projects, aligning with industry standards and client requirements. The position offers cross-team collaboration to implement robust processes and explore digital solutions that enhance information quality and lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement information management protocols aligned to ISO 19650
• Support project teams in adopting asset and information management best practice
• Review and assure project information deliverables across design, delivery and handover
• Manage Information Delivery Plans and embed information requirements in supplier activities
• Support development and implementation of BIM Execution Plans and related information management documentation
• Ensure asset information and data deliverables are complete and available at milestones
• Facilitate information assurance activities and maturity assessments
• Identify opportunities to introduce innovative digital solutions for information quality and lifecycle management
• Support transition of asset information into operational and facilities management environments

Key requirements

• Degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or related discipline
• Demonstrable experience in Asset Information Management and BIM (Building Information Modelling)
• Strong knowledge of ISO 19650 and ISO 55001
• Experience supporting infrastructure, construction, engineering, or capital project delivery programmes
• Understanding of construction lifecycles, information requirements, and asset management principles
• Experience implementing digital solutions to enhance project delivery and information management
• Effective communication, stakeholder engagement, reporting, and documentation skills
