Associate Director Landscape Architect / Landscape Planner – London

In this role you help shape landmark landscape and urban design projects within a global engineering firm. You lead design work and LVIA/assessments, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and nurture client relationships across public and private sectors. You’ll guide bids and mentor junior colleagues, while contributing to a culture of innovation and inclusion. Responsibilities

• Lead, author and coordinate Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments and Assessments (LVIA)
• Lead on design projects (urban realm and mixed-use) through LI/RIBA stages in a BIM level 2 environment
• Support development of client relationships across public and private sectors
• Prepare bids for small to complex multi‑disciplinary projects
• Lead, manage and delegate work to junior team members
• Engage in client facing activities including design advice, workshops and stakeholder events
• Participate in internal multi‑disciplinary groups to promote innovation and thought leadership

Key requirements

• Degree in Landscape Architecture (or recognised equivalent)
• Postgraduate Diploma / Masters in Landscape Architecture (or recognised equivalent)
• Established track record authoring LVIA and LVIA Assessments
• Proven delivery of landscape and urban design projects from site analysis to detailed design
• Excellent technical skills with Autodesk or Bentley and Adobe Creative Suite
• Fluent English with strong verbal, written and graphic communication skills
