Planning Solicitor – Norwich / Hybrid Working

Overview

As a Planning Solicitor, you will handle planning matters across residential, commercial, retail, agriculture and energy schemes. You’ll support national house builders, developers, landowners and public sector clients within a friendly planning team. You will manage files from instruction through to conclusion and draft Section 106 and infrastructure agreements under the Town and Country Planning Act 1990. The role offers Norwich-based/hybrid working with growth as workload expands. You will contribute to impactful development projects and shape planning outcomes with experienced colleagues.

Responsibilities

• advise on planning applications and appeals for varied sectors
• draft and negotiate Section 106 agreements and infrastructure agreements
• manage matters from instruction to conclusion
• coordinate with clients and internal teams
• interpret planning legislation and policy in project contexts
• support junior colleagues and contribute to team development

Key requirements

• 1-6 years PQE
• Working knowledge of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 and related legislation
• experience drafting Section 106 and infrastructure agreements
• ability to manage matters end-to-end
