Finance Associate

Overview

As an Associate in Pinsent Masons’ Manchester finance team, you will work on a broad mix of high-value banking transactions, including corporate lending, leveraged finance, and real estate finance, for a diverse range of UK and international clients. You’ll collaborate with leading practitioners in a supportive, high-performance culture and develop specialist expertise within a national finance practice. This role offers exposure to sophisticated deals and meaningful relationship-building with banks, funds and corporate borrowers. You’ll drive deals forward and contribute to the firm’s growth and innovative approach to finance.

Responsibilities

• Work on a broad range of banking transactions (corporate lending, leveraged finance, real estate finance)
• Handle regional, national and international deals
• Support senior team members on complex matters
• Draft and lead negotiation of principal finance documents with pragmatic commercial advice
• Manage transactions to drive deals forward efficiently and collaboratively
• Build meaningful client relationships and support business development
• Collaborate within a high-performing Manchester team and wider national practice

Key requirements

• 1-4 PQE
