As Client Relationship Director, you will drive growth by shaping strategic relationships within assigned accounts and supporting the Account Leader in defining business vision. You’ll lead bid strategy, commercial negotiations, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver integrated clinical research solutions with patient impact. This role sits in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment where you influence profitability and strategic direction while expanding Parexel’s trusted relationships. Responsibilities

  • Support Account Leader in developing/execute plans to grow accounts and profitability
  • Own assigned accounts with responsibility for new business, bid strategy, and contract negotiations
  • Lead bid pursuit meetings and shape proposal strategy with cross-functional teams
  • Create compelling proposals and ROI-focused executive summaries
  • Identify client needs and design consultative solutions leveraging Parexel capabilities
  • Maintain high visibility with senior client management to drive repeat business
  • Know Parexel’s services well to spot cross-selling opportunities
  • Ensure knowledge transfer to delivery teams and align with Project Leaders
  • Maintain strong ties with delivery teams to uncover new opportunities
  • Monitor competitors and pricing to inform strategy and win decisions
  • Align pricing with targets, profitability, and contractual requirements
  • Collaborate with SBU Delivery, Solutions Consultants, Sales Support, Finance, Legal

Key requirements

  • Strategic and consulting skills to help clients meet drug development goals

  • Solid understanding of drug discovery, development, and clinical research
  • Experience packaging/proposing integrated solutions with ROI focus

  • Drive to deliver quality results ethically and professionally
  • Bachelor’s degree; several years in pharma services/CRO/Life Sciences; FSP sales experience
