In this role you will provide pragmatic, strategic corporate advice on reorganisations, cross-border integrations, and securities matters for global clients. You will collaborate with multiple practice groups and coordinate multi-jurisdictional projects, delivering high-quality work under challenging deadlines. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with multiple Baker McKenzie practice groups to support reorganisations, cross-border transactions, and integrations
  • Assist offices with diverse matters across jurisdictions, acting as country or regional coordinator and drafting corporate documents
  • Join project teams with lawyers, legal project managers, and legal tech staff across global offices
  • Escalate project-specific issues to Belfast management or project partner as appropriate
  • Build strong relationships with partners and lawyers across jurisdictions
  • Contribute to bespoke projects, identifying innovative services and efficiency improvements

Key requirements

  • Qualified as a solicitor in Northern Ireland and/or England and Wales with demonstrable corporate experience
  • Ability to review and analyze documentary and factual evidence, advising on risk and mitigation
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Teamwork skills and the ability to work both in teams and independently
  • Commercial awareness and client-first orientation
  • High standards of performance with ability to meet deadlines
  • Self-starter, collaborative, pragmatic, and adaptable
  • Excellent writing and organizational skills
  • Ability to balance priorities and manage deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and online research tools
