Overview

In this role you will support a Cardiff construction team handling a mix of contentious construction disputes and related advisory work. You will manage a varied caseload, draft key documents, and help steer dispute resolution strategies. The role includes collaborating across disciplines, contributing to BD activities, and delivering high-quality advice to clients. Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of contentious construction, building and engineering disputes
• Advise clients on practical, cost-effective dispute resolution solutions
• Draft pleadings, witness statements, correspondence, and key legal documents
• Handle complex regulatory and procedural issues with attention to detail
• Support other practice areas, including professional indemnity matters
• Contribute to business development through seminars and client events
• Collaborate across disciplines to deliver high-quality advice

Key requirements

• 2+ years PQE in construction disputes or commercial litigation with an interest in construction
• Strong technical ability and willingness to develop specialist construction expertise
• Excellent drafting, analytical and problem solving skills
• Confidence managing contentious matters independently
• Strong communication and client handling skills
• Proactive, team-focused approach
