Overview

Join WSP’s Air Quality team to drive impactful dispersion modelling and air quality planning on landmark projects. You’ll work with experts across national and international initiatives, shaping monitoring strategies and data-driven decisions. You’ll manage projects to budget and schedule while liaising with clients and authorities to deliver high-quality air quality solutions. This role offers broad exposure to innovative modelling, policy interfaces, and business development within a supportive, inclusive culture. Responsibilities

• Perform dispersion modelling using ADMS and ADMS-Roads
• Design and implement ambient air quality monitoring plans (passive and automatic)
• Contribute to bid submissions, quotes and tenders
• Manage projects to ensure delivery within budget, programme and scope
• Liaise with clients, project teams, and Local Authorities
• Collate and analyse data and write reports
• Support business development and raise the profile of the air quality team

Key requirements

• Good numerical skills (math and/or physics A-levels)
• Degree in a scientific discipline
• Excellent communication and IT skills
• Ability to write clear, concise reports/proposals
• Experience in project management, supervision and QA of air quality work
• Strong knowledge of current air quality legislation, policy, guidance and best practice
• Experience in data analysis using Excel and GIS
• Proactive, accountable approach and team collaboration
• Associate or full member of IAQM (desired)
