Private Equity Associate- US law firm

Overview

In this role you will support leveraged finance transactions within a prestigious US law firm’s London office, primarily on buy-side private equity deals. You will work closely with the PE team to execute high-value financings and contribute to deal execution for cross-border clients. The opportunity emphasizes quality of work, client relationships, and clear progression within a dynamic, collaborative culture. This role offers exposure to top-tier deals and a path to growth in a high-caliber private equity practice.

Responsibilities

• Support leveraged finance transactions for private equity buy-side deals
• Contribute to deal execution and coordination with cross-border teams
• Assist with client liaison and documentation preparation
• Support senior lawyers in negotiation and closings
• Maintain attention to high-quality work and client service

Key requirements

• 3-5 PQE
• England & Wales qualified
• PE experience within a US, Magic Circle, or Top 30 City law firm
• excellent academics
