Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of complex fire engineering projects across commercial, residential, healthcare, education, industrial and infrastructure sectors
• Provide technical oversight and QA of fire strategies, reports, and design solutions
• Develop innovative, performance‑based fire engineering solutions
• Act as technical authority on UK fire safety legislation and Building Regulations
• Develop and maintain client, developer, architect, contractor, and authority relationships
• Lead proposal preparation, fee submissions, and bid responses
• Contribute to market strategy and growth objectives of the fire engineering business
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of fire engineers

Key requirements

• Degree qualified in Fire Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline
• Ideally Chartered or working towards Chartered Engineer status
• Significant experience within a fire engineering consultancy environment
• Experience leading, managing, and developing technical teams
