C++ Crypto Lead Engineer

Overview

In this role you will lead the development of crypto trading infrastructure and DeFi-related technologies for a high-profile global client. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to scale trading platforms, evaluate and integrate DeFi protocols, and mentor a growing engineering squad. The environment emphasizes open-source principles, robust performance, and rapid iteration. You’ll shape the crypto tech stack and contribute to strategic decisions in a world-scale trading network.

Responsibilities

• Build crypto trading platform for new exchanges
• Research, design, and develop smart contract-related technologies
• Recruitment and development of a larger engineering team
• Analyze DeFi projects and protocols (payments, trading, lending, derivatives)
• Develop and connect decentralized platforms as required
• Assess security and trade-offs of decentralized projects and provide input to the community
• Collaborate with blockchain R&D and other teams

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• 5+ years in technology development
• 1+ year relevant trading experience
• Solid C++ engineering skills
• Experience trading financial services
• Familiarity with Compound, dYdX, Kyber, 0x, makerdao
