As a trusted People & Culture Business Partner, you collaborate with senior leaders to translate business goals into strategic people plans that boost growth, engagement and performance. You shape culture, drive capability development, and ensure HR initiatives deliver measurable results across multi-site operations. You will lead employee engagement, change management, and workforce analytics to inform decision-making. Responsibilities

  • Partner with leadership to develop and execute strategic people plans
  • Foster a high-performance, customer-focused culture across the business
  • Coach and influence senior leaders on people-related matters
  • Lead employee engagement, culture and change-management initiatives
  • Use workforce data and analytics to support decision-making and opportunities for improvement
  • Support talent acquisition, succession planning and leadership development
  • Lead, develop and motivate the People team
  • Manage complex employee relations and deliver commercially focused HR solutions
  • Build strong relationships across operational and functional leadership teams

Key requirements

  • Generalist HR and business partnering experience
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to align people strategies with business priorities
  • Experience leading cultural transformation, engagement and organisational development
  • Excellent coaching, influencing and stakeholder management
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice
  • Experience using data to drive people-related decisions
  • Leadership experience with HR team development
  • Chartered CIPD status or equivalent (preferred)
  • Experience in construction, engineering or similar operational environments (advantageous)
