Overview
In this role you will own the UK PR and communications strategy for a leading automotive brand, shaping media relations, product and corporate messaging, and reputation management. You’ll coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners to maximize visibility and drive brand leadership. Expect to manage high-impact launches, events, and executive storytelling, with a strong focus on measurable media outcomes. This is a senior in-house position offering strategic influence and UK-wide scope.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the annual PR and communications strategy.
- Support business, sales, and brand objectives through integrated communications plans for product launches and campaigns.
- Lead media relations, acting as primary company media contact and managing enquiries and briefings.
- Drive product communications for new launches and updates, coordinating with Fleet and Marketing teams.
- Manage corporate communications programs and executive visibility, including speeches and key messages.
- Oversee brand reputation, crisis plans, and consistent messaging across channels.
- Manage PR agencies and external partners, including budgets, objectives, and ROI.
- Cultivate influencers and industry relationships to boost brand awareness.
- Support vehicle launches, media events, and post-event coverage.
- Coordinate internal communications with HR and leadership teams.
- Monitor media coverage, track KPIs, and prepare management reports.
Key requirements
- Minimum 5 years in public relations, communications, or corporate affairs.
- Experience in automotive, mobility, technology, consumer brands, or multinational organisations preferred.
- Strong media relations and PR campaign management experience.
- Experience supporting product launches and brand-building activities.
- Agency and in-house PR experience is advantageous.
