Overview
In this role you will lead strategic engagement with a portfolio of fund clients, acting as the trusted adviser and primary relationship owner. You will shape tailored banking solutions to meet client objectives while collaborating with product teams to originate lending, treasury, and operational opportunities. You will represent the bank in the funds sector, strengthening relationships and markets through high-quality service and insight. Responsibilities
- Lead strategic client planning and relationship ownership across fund clients
- Originate and coordinate lending, treasury, and operational banking opportunities
- Negotiate Heads of Terms and prepare credit submissions and client proposals
- Collaborate across teams to deliver scalable, innovative solutions
- Maintain seamless client experience across sales and service touchpoints
- Represent the bank at industry events to enhance profile and identify growth opportunities
- Provide market insights to identify emerging opportunities and trends in the funds sector
- Maintain high standards of risk management across all client activities
- Manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
Key requirements
- Significant experience in institutional banking, fund finance, corporate banking or related financial services
- Strong knowledge of investment funds, fund structures, and related banking solutions
- Proven ability to build and influence senior stakeholder relationships
- Strong commercial awareness with sound risk judgement
- Experience preparing credit submissions, client proposals, and commercial recommendations
- Ability to identify market opportunities and drive client/business growth
