Senior Product Line Manager

Overview

In this role you will own the flight recorder product line within the Customer Facing team, guiding it from customer needs through engineering and manufacturing. You will shape growth strategies and contribute to strategic product planning and technology roadmaps. You will coordinate across sales, engineering and marketing to align requirements with commercial goals. You will lead commercialization efforts, participate in bids, and help develop market positioning and product literature. This is a cross-functional, impact-focused role that connects customers with internal teams to drive product success.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop the flight recorder product line and design system solutions addressing customer requirements
• Develop growth strategies and contribute to strategic product planning and technology roadmaps
• Research customer needs and opportunities from Curtiss-Wright, partners, or internal sources
• Collaborate with bids & proposals team to create winning submissions
• Lead consensus with engineering and sales on roadmaps and prioritize R&D investments
• Assess market needs, forecast demand, and drive product positioning and pricing strategy
• Provide training and materials to sales and marketing for product promotion
• Ensure high-quality product literature in collaboration with Technical Publications, Engineering and Marketing
• Represent the company in industry groups to define future recorder requirements
• Develop goals, budget and strategic plans for the product line

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Familiarity with high performance embedded system design and standards in defence/aerospace
• Appreciation of aircraft avionics systems (beneficial)
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally
• Strong oral and written communication skills; knowledge of MS Office
• Master’s Degree desirable
