In this role you will lead and contribute to structural design for buildings within a multidisciplinary team, shaping iconic projects across NSW and ACT. You’ll collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to deliver high-quality, bespoke solutions while mentoring junior staff. You will provide senior technical guidance, manage project teams, and build strong client relationships. Responsibilities

• Lead and support structural design projects for buildings, including inspections, assessments and reporting
• Collaborate with architects, project managers, building services and civil engineers in multidisciplinary teams
• Provide clients with expert technical guidance and strategic advice, maintaining strong client relationships
• Manage projects and lead project teams to ensure successful delivery
• Support ongoing career development and mentor junior staff

Key requirements

• Bachelor in Civil and/or Structural Engineering
• Between 5 and 15 years’ industry experience as a Structural Engineer in a consulting environment
• Experience across various building types and materials
• Membership of Engineers Australia and pursuing CPEng and NER (highly desirable)
• Knowledge of Australian Building Codes and Standards
• Existing security clearance or ability to obtain for project work (highly desirable)
• Strong communication skills with clients and stakeholders
• Passion for delivering high-quality bespoke solutions and mentoring others
