Wind Analyst

Overview

In this Wind Analyst role, you will perform wind energy yield analysis from early-stage to financial-grade assessments and provide technical advisory to support project development and financing. You join a collaborative Site and Yield team that blends research with client deliverables to advance renewable energy projects. You will help refine analysis methods, mentor peers, and contribute to Ramboll’s industry-leading R&D efforts. This is a chance to shape wind yield insights within a global, multidisciplinary team and contribute to a sustainable energy transition.

Responsibilities

• Conduct wind energy yield analyses from early-stage to financial-grade
• Provide technical advisory on energy yield, including due diligence of third-party reports and wind measurement campaigns
• Ensure high-quality deliverables for onshore and offshore wind projects globally
• Contribute to development of analysis methods, tools, and products and to the global R&D strategy
• Support management and mentoring of peers and junior staff
• Engage in commercial sales and technical work to support project development, financing, and operation

Key requirements

• Relevant experience in financial-grade wind energy yield assessment
• Relevant experience in technical project management
• Excellent communication and reporting skills
• Confidence in providing technical advisory related to wind analysis to diverse clients
• Ability to work as part of an international team
