Change Manager

Overview

In this Change Manager role, you will drive transformation across BSI Labs’ digitalisation and RED programmes, guiding people through new systems and ways of working. You will lead change strategy, engage cross-functional teams, and enable end-user adoption for Lab systems like LIMS. You’ll work closely with Lab Managers, engineers and quality teams to ensure readiness and measurable adoption. This is a hands-on, stakeholder-facing role with on-site engagement in Hemel Hempstead, offering meaningful impact through industrial and scientific change.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the change management plan for LIMS and Simulated Testing deployment
• Support change activities for the RED Labs Programme including people, process and ways-of-working impacts
• Conduct stakeholder mapping, change impact assessments and readiness activities across Lab functions
• Build relationships with Lab Managers, Engineers, Quality, Logistics, Health & Safety and other technical stakeholders
• Lead engagement activities (workshops, floor talks, lunch & learns)
• Identify and manage change resistance and readiness risks
• Lead training needs analysis and develop training materials and role-based resources
• Partner with Product Owner and LabVantage vendor for end-user training and adoption
• Coordinate change communications and go-live messaging across affected teams
• Ensure Quality Assurance and operational requirements are considered in change planning
• Track and report change readiness and adoption for Programme Leads and stakeholders
• Act as a key link between the programme and lab teams to incorporate frontline feedback

Key requirements

• Proven experience delivering business change within complex transformation programmes
• Formal Change Management qualification (Prosci ADKAR, APMG Change Management Practitioner, or equivalent)
• Experience supporting a LIMS, ERP or other complex enterprise system implementation
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and facilitation skills across senior and frontline groups
• Experience developing and delivering change communications, training and adoption activities
• Experience in laboratory, manufacturing, regulated or complex operational environments (beneficial)
• Technical or scientific background advantageous for engaging with scientific and technical teams
• Exposure to ISO 17025 advantageous
