Associate Director, Corporate Tax, Tax Consulting

Overview

In this role you will lead corporate tax advisory and compliance work for a diverse client portfolio from Bristol or Cardiff. You will cultivate deep client relationships, guide senior team members, and develop junior colleagues within a collaborative, inclusive culture. You’ll own key client projects, oversee deadlines and deliverables, and interact directly with partners to shape outcomes. This role offers exposure to major, influential clients and a clear path to leadership within Deloitte’s tax practice.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow existing client relationships while developing new ones
• Support senior team members and subject matter experts in delivery of services
• Develop the technical and operational skills of junior team members
• Manage and oversee compliance and advisory projects, including deadlines and billing
• Collaborate effectively in diverse, inclusive teams and contribute to client outcomes

Key requirements

• Experience in a practice firm
• ICAEW or CTA qualifications, or equivalent
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to plan, prioritise, meet deadlines and work under pressure
