Overview

Senior Commercial Property solicitor/partner in Cardiff, hybrid role, leading autonomous caseload and contributing to department growth. You will handle acquisitions, disposals, leases, development work, and landlord-tenant matters while mentoring juniors and building client relationships. You’ll work with the Head of Department to expand the team’s reach across offices and drive strategic growth. Responsibilities

• Manage a varied commercial property caseload including acquisitions/disposals, leases, development, and landlord-tenant matters
• Oversee and contribute to secured lending and finance transactions
• Mentor and support junior colleagues
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, agents, lenders and other stakeholders
• Drive business development and contribute to department-wide strategic growth
• Collaborate with Head of Department to expand team reach across multiple offices
• Operate autonomously with a proactive approach to deadlines and client delivery

Key requirements

• Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive at Senior Associate or Partner level
• Experienced in a broad range of commercial property matters
• Ability to run a caseload independently and prioritise deadlines
• Strong drafting, communication and relationship-building skills
