Senior Implementation Consultant – Regulatory Reporting

Overview

In this role you will lead technical delivery of regulatory reporting implementations for financial institutions. You will manage projects across multiple asset classes, collaborating with cross-functional teams and presales to drive fast, reliable infrastructure deployments. You’ll translate business needs into functional and technical designs, support client testing and go-lives, and own greenfield implementations. This is a high-responsibility, client-facing role focused on regulatory change and delivery excellence.

Responsibilities

• Manage and run your own regulatory reporting implementation projects
• Collaborate with presales and cross-functional teams to gather and document requirements
• Perform business analysis and produce functional documentation for developers
• Deliver professional services around product implementation and system use
• Provide client support and troubleshoot technical issues
• Plan and deliver greenfield implementations
• Act as a liaison between clients and the Professional Services team on project deliverables
• Work independently while being collaborative and solution-focused

Key requirements

• 5 years commercial experience in implementation or consultancy
• Knowledge of at least one major Financial Reporting Regulation or related banking/financial sector reporting
• Financial accounting and risk calculation knowledge
• SQL proficiency
• Knowledge of software development lifecycles (Agile/Prototype)
• Proficient in database concepts (Oracle and/or MS SQL Server)
• Strong understanding of databases, SQL, performance tuning, indexes, triggers
• Client-facing experience
• Experience of software integration
