Global Finance Process Owner

Overview

In this role you will drive the future finance operating model for a global function, partnering with senior finance leaders and reporting to the CFO. You will lead end-to-end finance processes, focusing on P2P and R2R, and oversee a multi-year roadmap for process optimisation, automation and standardisation. You will steer Oracle Fusion adoption, collaborate with Digital & Technology to shape system capabilities, and champion AI and advanced analytics to improve finance operations. You will build a Finance Process Centre of Excellence and embed governance and controls across the organisation.

Responsibilities

• Own and govern end-to-end finance processes with emphasis on P2P and R2R
• Develop and execute a multi-year roadmap for process optimisation, automation and standardisation
• Lead ongoing enhancement and adoption of Oracle Fusion across finance
• Partner with Digital & Technology to define future system capabilities
• Champion AI, automation and analytics to improve operations and decision-making
• Establish and develop a Finance Process Centre of Excellence
• Drive governance, controls and process consistency across the organisation
• Influence strategic decisions as part of the Finance Leadership Team
• Lead and develop a Finance Process Manager and provide broader finance leadership

Key requirements

• recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• experience in complex finance environments
• proven track record in leading finance transformation and process improvement
• strong Oracle Fusion ERP experience (post-go-live optimisation and benefits realisation)
• deep understanding of P2P and R2R; working knowledge of O2C and tax
• experience engaging with senior finance stakeholders at executive level
• strong knowledge of controls, governance, process design and finance operating models
• exposure to automation, AI, workflow tools or advanced analytics
• ability to balance strategic thinking with practical delivery
