Assistant Director – Business Valuations (Tax) – London

Overview

As Assistant Director in EY’s VME team, you will help deliver valuation, modelling and economic advisory services for private equity clients across diverse sectors. You’ll work on management incentive valuations and related projects, with exposure to broader tax valuation and financial reporting work. You will manage multiple projects, coach junior staff and collaborate with cross-functional EY teams on live transactions. Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management of multiple valuation assignments and small project teams
• Collaborate with EY service lines on live transactions (e.g., Transaction Diligence, Transaction Tax)
• Maintain client liaison and participate in meetings with clients and deal advisors
• Keep project leader updated on progress and flag issues promptly
• Deliver high-quality valuation analyses and reports on time and within budget
• Provide on-the-job training and guidance to junior staff
• Contribute to new business development opportunities and proposals

Key requirements

• Relevant valuation experience at a professional services firm or equivalent
• Experience valuing management incentive arrangements on live transactions
• Strong analytical, numeracy and modelling skills
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a diverse team on larger engagements
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
