Security Manager

Overview

In this Security Manager role, you safeguard guests, staff, and assets while upholding Curio Collection standards. You will lead hotel security, safety, and loss prevention, partnering with management to align with corporate policies. You’ll handle incidents, coordinate with authorities, and drive continuous safety improvements. You’ll work across departments to foster a culture of safety and compliance, shaping secure guest experiences. Responsibilities

• Lead hotel security, safety, and loss prevention operations to protect guests, staff, contractors, and assets
• Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and risk prevention measures
• Train, manage, and supervise the security team to ensure high performance and compliance
• Investigate incidents, thefts, accidents, complaints, and security breaches; report and coordinate with authorities
• Monitor CCTV, alarms, access controls, and key management to keep systems operational
• Conduct security audits, patrols, and risk assessments across the hotel
• Ensure Health & Safety, Fire Safety, and relevant regulations compliance
• Coordinate emergency response procedures, fire drills, and crisis management activities
• Deliver safety training and inductions for employees and managers
• Collaborate with department heads to promote safety culture and compliance
• Manage security budgets, analyze trends, and report to senior management
• Liaise with law enforcement and emergency services as needed
• Coordinate security for events and high-profile functions
• Support Manager on Duty duties and provide emergency cover when required
• Drive continuous improvement in safety, security, compliance, and operational efficiency
