Senior Front-End Developer (React, TypeScript) – VP, FX Options Pricing

Overview

In this role you will drive the front-end evolution of a greenfield FX Options trading platform. You will collaborate with quants and traders to deliver real-time pricing, RFQ workflows, and pricing workbenches, shaping the next generation of trading technology. You will mentor peers and help scale development and testing processes in a hybrid, agile environment. This is a high-impact opportunity to redefine electronic FX trading at scale with Citi Tech.

Responsibilities

• Design and build a state-of-the-art electronic FX Options Trading Platform, focusing on RFQ workflows and real-time pricing displays.
• Develop real-time pricing engines and market data tools, including volatility surfaces and pricing workbenches.
• Collaborate with global teams of developers, quants, and traders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Build high-performance, scalable UIs using TypeScript and React with an emphasis on UX.
• Improve development, deployment (CI/CD), and testing processes for quality and efficiency.
• Mentor other developers to foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.

Key requirements

• Advanced hands-on UI/UX development with React and TypeScript.
• Experience with real-time data applications using REST APIs, WebSockets, or middleware (e.g., Solace, Kafka, TIBCO).
• Proficiency in modern software engineering practices: CI/CD, automated testing, resiliency, performance profiling, telemetry.
