Overview
As a Senior Product Manager in FinCrime, you own the Name and Payment Screening domain, guiding onboarding, monitoring, and transactions. You’ll align strategy with the Financial Crime Intelligence goals and collaborate with Compliance, Engineering, and Data to scale intelligent screening. You’ll optimize sanctions, PEP, and adverse media, leveraging AI to reduce false positives while maintaining regulatory risk. This role offers impact across products and geographies, with a clear path to leadership in a fast-growing FinTech.

Responsibilities
- Own Name Screening & Payment Screening across onboarding, monitoring, and transactions for clients and counterparties
- Define area strategy aligned to domain goals and company direction; translate into a roadmap
- Oversee screening across fiat-to-fiat, fiat-to-crypto, crypto-to-crypto, and card spends
- Optimize sanctions, PEP, and adverse media sources and fuzziness scoring
- Leverage AI for risk-based matching, alert scoring, suppression, and deduplication
- Stakeholder management with first/second line operations and compliance; partner with Data Science on predictive models (understanding production behavior)
- Support regulatory reviews and audits with strong product narratives
- Translate regulatory and risk requirements into product requirements; collaborate with Engineering on vendor integrations, event schemas, data models, and scalability
Key requirements
- FinTech, crypto, payments, or regulated financial services experience
- 4+ years’ experience as a Product Manager
- 2+ years working on Screening products
- Strong understanding of name screening, payment screening, sanctions, and watchlist concepts, matching logic, fuzziness, thresholds
- Experience with third-party screening vendors in regulated financial services
- Experience leading vendor evaluations, integrations, and performance management
- Analytical thinking and ability to contribute to system design discussions
- Ability to influence across functions and geographies to drive alignment and execution
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field (nice to have)
- Experience building platforms serving B2B and B2B2C (nice to have)
