DevOps Platforms Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and operate cloud-based solutions for enterprise environments
• Apply cloud architecture, infrastructure as code and automation practices
• Manage containerisation and orchestration with Kubernetes
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab or similar
• Develop robust monitoring and alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor and ELK/EFK for Kubernetes
• Collaborate within cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, project-driven environment
• Plan, organise and report progress and issues clearly
• Travel to UK-based projects as required
• Contribute to security, identity and access management for cloud environments

Key requirements

• Effective communication and collaboration
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Ability to achieve UK Security Clearance
• Understanding of IAM, cloud networking and cloud security best practices in Azure or AWS
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code in enterprise environments
• Containerisation and orchestration with Kubernetes
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab or similar)
• Automation of complex solutions with scripting/programming languages
• Experience in monitoring and observability (Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, ELK/EFK)
